As I started to explore the stories that connect to Loch Leven, I put together a timeline to begin to get a sense of layers of story throughout history. I picked up on the stories that interested me - usually to do with how people in the past have lived in connection with this landscape. I used the timeline to think about how stories connect and change through time, centred around the ancient landscape of the Loch.
